Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee

The General Obligation Bond Elections were held November 8, 2016. The citizens of Hughson Unified School District approved Hughson Unified School District School Facilities Improvement District No. 1, in the amount of $3.2 million, know as Measure Q, and bonds of the District in the amount of $2.2 million, know as Measure R.

Click here to see the video showing the progression of the Bond construction projects.Pursuant to Section 15278 of the Education Code, the District has established a Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee in order to satisfy the accountability requirements of Proposition 39.The committee consists of the following members:Julian Farhoud:  Member active in a business organization representing the business community located within the district

  • Dana McGarry:  Member active in a senior citizens' organization
  • Mike Ellak:  Member who is a parent/guardian of a child enrolled in the District
  • Matt Spears:  Member who is a parent/guardian of a child enrolled in the District and active in a parent-teacher organization, such as Parent-Teacher Club or School Site Council
  • Linda Aldrich and Mike Bava:  Members of the community at-large
  • VACANT:  Member active in a bona fide taxpayers' organization
